Hello! 

​I’m Mark Nunez, a Mexican American author born and raised in Oxnard, California! I’ve loved storytelling since third grade, when I created comics about popcorn secret spies!

I write to inspire young readers to explore mental wellness, self-love, and the importance of embracing diversity. I created Kremlin, the frog and his buddies to educate children on the importance of mental wellness and how to stand tall in the face of adversity.

The books I write are a mix of social/emotional stories mixed in with action and adventure to keep kids of all ages entertained and build their confidence! :)
